Increases your safety: Wiha slimBits ensure good and protected access to deep-seated screws. Saves space: Space-saving due to an extensive interchangeable bit system. Provides you with full protection: Each tool is individually tested at 10,000 V AC and approved for 1,000 V AC. Application: For work on live parts up to 1,000 V AC. Note: VDE and GS certified. To reach deep-seated screws, the blade diameter of conventional electrician screwdrivers is often too large. However, removing the insulation is not permissible and endangers your own safety. With Wiha slimTECHNOLOGY, specifically developed for electrical applications, the protective insulation is integrated into the blade, allowing for blades that are up to 33% slimmer. This makes it easy to reach deep-seated screws and spring elements with the slimBits. The insulated slimBits are subjected to a piece test according to the international standard IEC 60900, enabling safe work on live parts up to 1,000 V AC. 6 mm slimBits are only to be used with the slimVario® bit holder and slimTorque VDE bit holder (VDE torque system). Tested according to IEC 60900.
