Question about Shelly Dimmer 2
Hello everyone, I would like to operate the Shelly Dimmer2 with a motion detector. Switching it on is no problem, but unfortunately the light no longer switches off. Anyone have an idea how this can work? Best regards Christian

I had the same problem with the Niko PIR motion detector Infra Garde 200 Max AP IP44.
I solved it by connecting a Finder Interposing relay, 12A 1 NO, 230vac in between.
In the motion detector I set the time to the minimum, in Dimmer 2 I set the Activation switch setting under Pushbutton/Switch type and entered the desired switch-on time under Switch off automatically. This way you can adjust the brightness and the switch-on time at any time via the app.

I see two options: 1. connect directly to the shelly and set a switch-on time in the parameters. 2. Connect to the home automation system where the sensor is also connected, and set the switch-off time to x minute(s) after switching on...
