Two questions about the Gardena rainwater tank pump 4700/1 item 14551300. When watering by hand, you don't need water all the time. Then the pump runs without delivering water. Is the pump designed for this? 2. how long is the power cable? Thank you very much for your answers.
the cable is 10m long and the pump runs as soon as you plug it in. i always take it back out of the barrel.
but actually it should also work if you leave it in. it has a tap. turning it off should be enough. as the pump stops anyway when the float is out of the water 💦 so I think I can answer your question with yes. Data without empirical value
