What is the range of the remote control? I want to operate a lamp in the living room that is about 6 metres away from the entrance. Is that too far?

I just tried it out: 6 metres is no problem if there are no walls in the way. Info: the cube does not necessarily switch on or off at the first press of the button, you almost always have to press it several times. But that doesn't bother me.

I agree with the answer above. Having to press the button several times is tedious, and the push button keeps blocking. Therefore, from my point of view, it is not recommended.
