Product details
The CR3.4eco Crawler in Bronco Style is interesting for those who appreciate minimalist crawling or want to enter this fascinating hobby on a budget. This vehicle is a downgraded version of our original CR3.4 RTR chassis, which is considered one of the best on the market since 2020. The quality of the components used is, of course, the same as its fully-equipped counterparts. The mounting points for optional features like differential locks or a 2-speed transmission are theoretically present as well. By default, the vehicle comes with a 550 32T brushed high-torque motor and a HobbyWing 40A speed controller. Using jumpers on the speed controller, you can specify whether the vehicle is powered by a 7.2V NiMH battery or a 2S or 3S (low profile) LiPo battery. Portal axles not only provide a greater distance from the differential housing to the ground compared to conventional axles, but they also have another positive feature. In conventional crawlers, the torque applied can cause the vehicle to jump over obstacles. The design of the portal axles reduces the gear ratio at the wheels and practically eliminates the torque spikes from the drivetrain. The overall gear reduction ratio of the axle gearing is more than double that of non-portal versions to ensure a smooth operation. The steering damper absorbs most hard impacts, protecting the 9 kg MG steering servo and the servo arm. Hardened steel drive shafts and a steering angle of 45.8° provide the best capabilities for any terrain. Additionally, the 2.2 tires not only look stylish but also offer extreme grip due to their super soft rubber.
