Papier-mâché pulp is a durable and colorfast powdered paper used for making papier-mâché figures. It dries thoroughly and is robust despite its lightness. Simply mix with water.

The powdered paper already contains some adhesive, so you only need to mix it with water. Mixing ratio: 3 parts pulp to 1 part water. Only prepare a small amount at a time, as the pulp is very effective in use. Stir the mixture to a paste-like consistency, which you can then mold into a solid mass with your hands. You can prepare the pulp mixture a day in advance and store it in a lidded bucket. Press, shape, and smooth the pulp on non-absorbent surfaces or mold it – for example, on a brochure cover – into small flat objects. The thicker the layer, the longer the drying time. Allow it to dry for 3–7 days in a warm place.

Pulp has a nice rough surface and can be used for many creative projects.
