The advantages of this color system: Revell Aqua Color paints come in completely new 18 ml containers that are ideal for use. The paints can be thinned with water, have a mild odor, are non-flammable, and contain virtually no organic solvents. There are 88 different colors that can be mixed with each other. After 2 to 3 hours, the paint is fully dry, and overcoating is possible after just one hour, which means it dries six times faster than enamel colors. The new colors can be easily overcoated with the existing enamel colors (14 ml) after drying, but they cannot be mixed with each other. The paint is also suitable for airbrushing. It is important to note that the paint should not be thinned too much, with a maximum of 20 to 25% water. Ideally, the paint should be thinned with Aqua Color Mix, as it also acts as a drying retarder and prevents the paint from drying too quickly in the spray gun. The spray gun should be cleaned immediately with water after use. If the paint has already dried, the spray gun can also be cleaned with Airbrush Clean or Aqua Color Clean. For brush application: The paints are brushable and feature high opacity. They leave smooth surfaces after brushing, almost as good as airbrushing. The final result is absolutely comparable to enamel colors and provides exceptional results when brushed.
