Miles Campbell, nickname Castle, earned his Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Cal State LA and then joined the LAPD directly. After five years, he was assigned to the LAPD SWAT team, where he excelled for three years before being transferred to the FBI. Campbell spent two years as an FBI agent until he was promoted and returned to the FBI SWAT team.
