4. Trix Flachwagen-Paar Laads 800B
Prototype: Flat car pair type Laads 800B from Transwaggon GmbH, Hamburg. Reddish-brown base color. Operating condition since 2005. Model: Both flat car halves made of metal. Many separately applied details such as brake lines, air tanks, crossing plates, steps, and brake rods. Buffer height according to NEM. Kinematic-guided, rigid screw coupling between the car halves. Retaining wedges for the car top, retaining wedges for the car floor, and brake hoses are included as separately attachable parts. Loaded with four VW Crafter models from Schuco. 5. Trix H0 24161 H0 DB Container Transport Car Pair Laabs
An extremely creative idea was developed by Volkswagen and the German Federal Railways when they signed a contract in 1959 for the rail transport of engines and transmissions between the various Volkswagen production sites. The solution involved standardized containers that could be transported on short-coupled double units of modified Rm(r)so 31 flatcars. These cars featured only flat structures with wooden floors, on which the support frames for the containers were mounted. Each double unit could carry six containers, which were filled with either 36 engines or 96 transmissions. By 1966, the container transport cars for engine and transmission shipments were operating between Hannover and Wolfsburg, Emden and Ingolstadt, and later also to Brussels from Kassel-Baunatal. Starting in 1970, additional destinations included Salzgitter, Neckarsulm, Stuttgart, and Osnabrück. The model is based on an open freight car double unit Laabs for container transport of the German Federal Railways, rented to Volkswagen AG. It is designed without a handbrake, featuring a container support frame and Volkswagen transport containers as cargo. The operational state is around 1971. Current operational status as of 2021. Model: 2-part supplementary car set to expand the high-speed train RABe 501 Giruno into an 11-part unit. 7. Trix H0 24075 H0 Set of 5 DR Goods Wagons
Goods for the seaside resort of Heringsdorf. Prototype: Five goods wagons of different designs from the Deutsche Reichsbahn (DR). A goods train accompanying car of type Pwg, a covered goods wagon of type Gw, a low-sided wagon of type Rmo, a high-sided wagon of type Ommu, and a two-axle low-sided wagon of type X.
