The Lilienthal 30 model manufactured by aero-naut up to now has been revised so that the construction time could be shortened again. A thermal brake and turn control have been omitted in order to achieve a quick and uncomplicated assembly. The further development of the popular training model Lilienthal 31 now features a full-wood wing in standard construction (Jedelsky). This model eliminates the need for paper covering and treatment with tension lacquer, resulting in a quicker building success. For impregnation, the wooden model is treated at least once with pore filler. With a low overall surface load of about 12 g per dm², this model has very good flying characteristics. The Lilienthal 32 is equipped with a curve control that is activated after releasing the high-start line. All wooden parts are precisely laser-cut and are assembled according to the detailed and very comprehensive building instructions, which include many 3-D drawings. The model is entirely made of wood. All parts have been precisely laser-cut to fit together very accurately. Luxx is aimed at model builders who want to experience real model building again but do not want to wait for weeks of assembly. Thanks to the simple construction with a box fuselage, a build time of just a few evenings can be planned until the model is fully covered and ready for flight.
The wings have been developed with a modified profile that guarantees both stable flight behavior and the possibility of performing somewhat faster flights. Even thermal soaring is quite possible with Luxx in a simple manner.
The construction is entirely in rib construction and is carried out using the proven aero-naut jig. The assembly of the entire wing can be completed in about 1-2 hours due to the precise level of prefabrication.
Access to the motor and battery is provided through the removable canopy, eliminating the need to remove the wing for battery changes.
Simple motors in the power class of 150W with a 2-3s LiPo battery are suitable for propulsion, allowing for excellent climb performance and faster flights.
