It is also effective for up to 6 hours against the tiger mosquito. The active ingredient Icaridin (also known as Bayrepel) helps to repel mosquitoes. It is important to apply the product thoroughly; otherwise, mosquitoes will target areas that have not been treated with the repellent. Reapply as needed. Spray the product evenly onto the skin from a distance of 15-20 cm, and then use your hand to spread it uniformly over all exposed skin areas. For application on the face, spray directly into your palm and apply sparingly to the face, avoiding the eye and mouth areas. Please note that Autan is not waterproof, so always reapply after bathing or swimming. The effectiveness may also diminish due to sweat and abrasion, so reapply as necessary. Additionally, mosquitoes can bite through very thin clothing, so consider applying it under clothing as well. Thorough application is always crucial.
