The Skin Protect™ Complex, which consists of Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) and a combination of two sugars, restores the healthy skin barrier on both a physical and biological level and helps maintain the skin's water reserves, making it feel pleasant again.
Vitamin B3 contributes to the restructuring of the skin barrier by stimulating lipid synthesis, which improves skin smoothness and restores its long-lasting well-being.
The combination of sugars optimizes the skin's water reserves and facilitates water distribution in the skin layers by enhancing the synthesis of aquaporins (water channels). This provides deep hydration for 24 hours. To further support this effect, it stimulates the synthesis of hyaluronic acid, a highly hygroscopic molecule.
Glycerin and mineral fats help correct water deficiency in the skin by trapping water from outside the body.
The patented natural D.A.F™ complex increases the skin's tolerance threshold.
