How exactly do adhesive creams work?
- Adhesive creams contain special swelling agents that react with saliva, expand and become elastic.
- This elastic layer fills cavities between the surface of the denture and the gums. This displaces the air under the denture and seals the edge of the denture. A "vacuum effect" is created and the denture holds reliably.
