Product details
Thanks to SOMNOFIT, thousands of users can sleep through the night without snoring! Somnofit against snoring is a medically tested product with regard to its effectiveness against snoring and apnea. Thanks to its adjustable splints, it can be used in the long term and is also gentle on the teeth. Nevertheless, a healthy and stable set of teeth with at least 10 teeth per dental arch is a prerequisite for its use. Due to its 6 adjustment possibilities it can be individually adapted to the wishes of the wearer. Comfortable fitting at home! Heat water in a pot and place the enclosed thermometer and mouthguards inside. Once the optimal temperature is reached, place each splint in the mouth individually. Close your mouth and wait until the rails have solidified or cooled down. Now connect the splints to the adjustable band to allow the lower jaw to advance. From now on, put Somnofit in your mouth every evening so you can enjoy a restful sleep. For more information, refer to the supplied operating instructions. Included in the delivery: 1 upper mouthguard with 2 hooks facing forward, 1 lower mouthguard with 2 hooks on the back side, 1 thermometer with float, 1 ventilated storage box, 1 set of flexible bands to regulate the lower jaw feed, and 1 instruction manual. Somnofit is recommended for snoring, mild apnea and sleep apnea under CPAP therapy (the latter two are also recommended to consult a doctor). Somnofit is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age or if you have a removable denture or a partial denture with poor adhesion or if you suffer from pain in the jaw joint and/or gingival atrophy and tooth loosening. Also not recommended if you have less than 10 teeth in your upper or lower jaw.

Instructions for use | How is the mandibular advancement orthosis adapted to your dentition? It's very simple: the SomnoFit orthosis consists of two dental splints (top and bottom) that you need to mould to your dentures. Take a pot, heat water and add the thermometer that comes with the SomnoFit set. When the temperature of 80 °C is reached, soak the top bar in water for 3 minutes. Take it out, put it in your mouth and clench your teeth. Proceed in the same way with the lower tray. When both splints are moulded, connect them with the most suitable flexible band to fix the advancement of the lower jaw. Adjust the mandibular advancement according to your needs using the 6 flexible bands provided. From now on, you should put the SomnoFit brace in your mouth every evening before you go to sleep for a good night's sleep. Further information can be found in the instructions for use. Cleaning: The use of a denture cleaner is recommended for daily cleaning. It is sufficient to soak the braces in lukewarm water (approx. 35°) with a disinfectant tablet for at least half an hour. You can leave braces in this solution all day without any problems and should not forget to rinse them under running water before putting them back in your mouth. |
