I and my sister really like the Braun Satin Hair 7 ES 2 straightener. It heats up very quickly, is not too heavy and with the ionic technology you can see and feel a big difference compared to a hair straightener without ionic technology - the hair feels softer and more gentle. In addition, the hair does not become dry with daily use (especially the tips are spared), which shows that the moisture is actually retained.
We also like that the device has an automatic shutoff, because we have forgotten to turn it off one or the other time with other devices.
Something that could be criticized is the placement of the buttons. If you straighten your hair, it happens very often in the beginning that you accidentally adjust the temperature or even press the button "maximum temperature". Later on, you get used to it and it doesn't happen as often.Pro

For decades I have always tried new things to tame my extremely dry, very naturally wavy and quite unruly mane.
Now, finally, I have found MY ultimate hair straightener!
My hair is straightened faster than ever before; it's softer, prettier, shinier and most importantly: it lasts! - even when the weather is a bit humid.
And as a bonus, I also save a lot of money on expensive care products, because I need much less of it now than before.
About the adjustment knobs:
This is the only thing I don't like.
The controls are in the wrong place and are unsecured, so it's very easy to unintentionally adjust the settings when using the device.
Braun should take an example from other manufacturers, such as Babyliss!
I got used to this shortcoming but immediately, hold the device now differently and it no longer happens to me .... overall so no deduction from the rating!Pro

I have long, thick hair that often has a mind of its own. With this hair straightener, for the first time I can straighten my hair and/or make curls that will last several days! Wow, I have not been able to do that with either the blow dryer/round brush or the Curling Iron. I recommended it to my girlfriends, four have then also bought and are absolutely thrilled with it!Pro
