So for me it holds wonderfully when I sleep. Of course, if you lie on your face all the time and roll around or something like that, it can shift if it hasn't dried out yet. But generally it holds well yes.
However, I wouldn't wear it in the office ;-) but yes, it lasts well. I can't say exactly what the brightening effect is because my house is generally rather light :-)
