hello, my product arrived safely today and I connected the fixed adapter directly. However, I didn't realise that I should have connected the foam seal in between. What can I do now because it says it cannot be removed?

I use the product in two countries and regularly remove the fixed adapter. It has actually worked so far. Incidentally, I haven't fitted the foam seal either.
