Question about Garmin Index Smart Scale

I bought this scale in July. Again and again I have to stand on the scale a second time because it shows a very inaccurate weight. Like today, for example, how can it be (5 times) that I am suddenly 1.5kg lighter! It's getting on my nerves! Any ideas or should I file a warranty claim? Thanks

Hello Michaparag. I have noticed the same behaviour. I also had it with the previous scale. That's why I suspect that in my case it's (at least partly) due to the uneven surface (textured tiles in the bathroom). Maybe it's worth trying to change the surface?

As with almost all digital scales I have had so far, you first have to calibrate the scale to 0 before each use. So tap it once with the foot so that it switches on, wait until 0.0 appears on the display and then step on it.

As I said, this is not something that I think is specific to Garmin, but the two no-name cheap Media Markt un-smart scales that I had before the Garmin also had this.
