I have just read that the period for the warranty extension to 5 years has expired since 30.06.2021. Is this really true?

Someone must have been active on QoQa ^^. There was a period until 30.06.2021 where you had 5 years warranty, there is now again such a promotion if you buy your toothbrush until 31.08.2021. More here: https://www.oralb-garantie.com/
