I own the ER-GB80 model from Panasonic and have trouble keeping my beard growth even with it. Has anyone had the same experience and then bought the ER-GP80? Does it work with it?

No, it works well for me because I tend to wear it short, 4-6mm is perfect. It's just always a huge mess with the hair because it spikes everywhere.
Otherwise I am very satisfied.
