I was about to get the 6 io after a week of researching whether sonicare or io - but then I saw many articles and videos showing how, despite extensive routine cleaning of the toothbrush after brushing, mould forms on the toothbrush ? (Due to the new brush head and holder of the io series) What's the story, most of the articles I've read on this were American (shouldn't really make a difference). Is mould formation covered under warranty ?

Helpful answer
According to research, moisture can remain in the head area if it is dried incorrectly. This can theoretically lead to mould, but only occurs if the head is permanently wet. We recommend removing the head after cleaning and allowing all parts to dry completely. A warranty claim only exists if a technical defect occurs. Mould caused by use or insufficient drying is generally not covered.
