If you stand on a bathroom scale twice in a row, you will see exactly the same weight. This also applies to the cheapest, least accurate scales. This is because the vast majority of bathroom scales display the weight of the first measurement again when you step on them again, even if the measurement was IN EQUAL. This can be easily tested: Take 200g in your hand for the second measurement (2 bars of chocolate or measuring cup with 2 dl of water). A scale with an accuracy of 100g should now show at least 100g more than the first measurement. -- QUESTION: Who knows a bathroom scale that passes this 200g test and does not display the weight of the first measurement again?

Models with real strain gauge sensors and without memory smoothing, e.g:
- Withings Body+ or Body Comp
- Eufy Smart Scale P2 Pro
- Tanita RD-953 or BC-545N

These really measure every time you step on them and also show small differences.
In contrast, cheap models under CHF 30 almost always use the memory logic described above.
