Hi Anni, I'm totally happy with the appliance. I also sometimes use bath essences (lemon balm, thyme, etc.) which shouldn't foam. Afterwards I clean the basin well with bath cleaner. No problem so far.

I bought the footbath and use it daily with antiseptic, simply as a preventative measure for my toenail (on the advice of my doctor).

I have never had any problems as long as I wash the footbath immediately afterwards, otherwise there would certainly be discolouration or changes in smell.

In future I will also use essential oils, I think it is similar with the crystals. Due to the various functions (bubble function), the crystals should also be able to dissolve quickly on their own.

I don't think so, according to the doc. Only water. I didn't dare try it anyway, but it's a shame.
