My Philips Expert Clean 7500 gave up the ghost after 2 years. I have read and heard many similar reports about the diamond 9000. It's absurd how quickly they break down. Are there any manufacturers who produce long-lasting toothbrushes without planned obsolescence?

I have had several Philips Sonicare toothbrushes so far. Due to the design (due to the ultrasonic motor) they all (!) broke after about 2 years. I have now come to terms with this and always take the 5-year guarantee with me. I have tested other manufacturers - but the ultrasonic brushes from Philips are by far the best in my opinion.

I have a Diamond Clean 9000, but only recently. So I can't say much about its durability. But I will keep an eye on it. Thanks for the information.
