I would spray it with some limescale-dissolving bath cleaner, wait a while and then clean it carefully with a toothbrush. As a general rule, give the brush heads a rest after each use. Always remove the heads, rinse them and do not put them back on. Always wash and wipe dry the brush head holder area. Put the brushes on before brushing your teeth.
