This question is for the community: Why does the washing station heat up after the wash cycle? if i take the unit out before the heating process, and just wait until the next day, all the alcohol-based wash lotion has evaporated anyway. So why does it need this energy-wasting heating process that I can't configure away?

I couldn't find anything on the internet but I suspect it has something to do with bacteria formation, so that everything stays nice and clean, the device heats up quickly for disinfection because many bacteria don't survive a rapid change of heat.
