If I have understood correctly from the Philips homepage, the:
- RQ12/70 the complete shearing unit

- SH90/70 is the shaving head, i.e. only the upper half of the shaving unit.

- SH98/70 is the shaving head, i.e. only the upper half of the shaving unit for the Prestige models.

For my Philips Series 9000, I always use the replacement shaving head SH90/70, as shown here for CHF 55. I am very satisfied with the quality of this replacement shaving head. However, I would advise against the individually available shaving heads without the triangular plastic frame. They become blunt more quickly and are not of the same quality.
