VMB4540 is included. To watch those videos you need to be within your network. The Iphone application suggests to setup a VPN if external access is required. I can't tell you what exactly is possible with out subsricption as I still use the 6 month for free voucher.

I keep the camera outside all year round. We had minus 15° C for over a week. That hasn't done the camera any harm. Sometimes the lens is covered with drops when it rains. It is advisable to build a cover for this or to place the camera under the canopy. The spotlight can be switched off completely. If switched on, it is activated when motion is detected. The camera can be charged via the very long outdoor extension cable without having to change the battery.

The Arlo only works via a web account. So you are always dependent on Arlo.com. It is possible to save the video to a USB memory, but this has to be set up and parameterised laboriously on the Arlo website. Otherwise you have to buy a subscription to use the Arlo camera more easily. The support from Arlo is poor and there are no answers to questions.

That's kind of the idea behind these Ethernet connections on the upper floors. In the basement, the opposite side of the connection must simply be connected to the router or a switch. If you want to connect a PC via Ethernet, for example, you don't want to set it up in the basement if you want to use it upstairs.

They cannot influence the performance of the SIM card subscription - at most they can increase it a little if they add 5G - but that depends on the location of the house and the mobile phone antenna. Also important: that all cameras can be supplied with sufficient WiFi signal. I would just try it and clarify first: Do I have enough mobile signal for camera surveillance...? You can find a comparison of the Arlo service plans here: https://www.arlo.com/de_ch/serviceplans
