The Birkenstock classic Tokio SL has been on the market since the 1980s and has become a true work shoe classic for the "white professions". The clog with the anatomically moulded original Birkenstock cork-latex footbed has a two-component sole. This consists of a cushioning EVA midsole and a slip-resistant, profiled outsole made of real rubber. The outsole is also resistant to oil and grease. The clog is therefore particularly suitable for daily use in hospitals, doctors' surgeries and the catering industry, and the upper material of the clog is made from soft, yet dimensionally stable, high-quality leather. The clog offers comfort and safety. The closed design of the shoe protects the foot from impact injuries. The adjustable strap with a sturdy metal buckle on the instep also allows the shoe to be adjusted to the foot. A heel strap, which can be perfectly adjusted to the foot using an individually adjustable metal buckle, gives the foot additional support and a firm step - even when things get a little hectic at work. All super outsole (SL) models are tested in accordance with the slip resistance requirements of EN ISO 20347:2012 (category SRC).
