Test Report

Training like in the gym - 6 bike ergometers in the test

Exercise can be a real miracle cure: Regular exercise not only builds muscles and protects the heart from coronary heart disease, but also protects the mind from Alzheimer's disease. A balanced sports programme is therefore great for physical and mental health - and, if the sport suits the person, it can also be a lot of fun. That's why many consumers go to the gym once or several times a week: after all, there is every conceivable machine available for exercising - no matter which muscles you want to work on. However, it is not everyone's cup of tea to go to the gym again and again: After all, masses of people groaning loudly to themselves gather there at peak times; many consumers therefore prefer to complete their training programme alone and in the harmonious atmosphere of their household. This is no problem at all if you get the right equipment for the job. The majority of interested consumers prefer a bicycle ergometer, which works the same muscle groups as a normal bicycle - but with a bicycle ergometer you are not dependent on the weather. In the past weeks, we have thoroughly tested 6 entry-level bicycle ergometers (up to 1,000 €) with 12 testers.
