If you want to change your hair colour, you don't necessarily have to go to the hairdresser: In the drugstore, you can buy intensive hair colours for just a few euros, promising "maximum colour vibrancy" or "brilliant shine". But what can the products really do? How evenly and intensively do they colour the hair? And how easy are they to use? test took a close look at 11 products in various shades of blonde and dark brown-red. Most of them deliver tinting results that the testers were satisfied with. Only one intensive hair tint was not convincing.
