Test Report

Microphones in the test

The best microphone for podcast newcomers is the Blue Microphones Yeti X. The USB microphone convinced us with the best voice quality in the test. We also really liked the stylish look and the ease of use. In addition, the manufacturer offers "Logitech G Hub", a practical software that enhances the Yeti X with exciting extras such as a voice distorter. The price-performance victory goes to the Roccat Torch, which is just under 40 euros cheaper. The microphone also scored points with its ease of use and also offers more than decent recording quality. The Shure MV 05, on the other hand, was disappointing. The spherical microphone was particularly noticeable for its annoying pop noises, which clearly impede intelligibility.
