This is the second AOC monitor I bought. I bought it mainly because it has high refresh rate and G-sync, which I believe is the main reason most people buy it. I'm not going to discuss whether it looks nice or not because you can simply see the pictures and decide for yourself. Picture quality is very good but if you've already owned a good monitor don't expect to see much better results with this one. G-sync works flawlessly in games though I have to say it's still not as smooth as STABLE FPS + V-sync. You still notice micro stuttering when FPS drops from 130 to 100 for example. BUT it's still much better than V-sync, which causes A LOT of stuttering even if FPS drops only a little. If you've got a powerful PC (mine has a GTX 1080ti, i7-4790k and 16GB RAM 2400mhz DDR3) this is worth buying. Actually I'd recommand against buying it unless you've got at least a GTX 1080. Anything less powerful will not be able to render enough FPS for you to really enjoy the benefits of high refresh rate, unless you're willing to sacrifice graphics quality for more FPS.
Mine has one dead pixel, but it's visible under red color only and very hard to notice so I don't really care about it. It also has backlight bleed but that's common for IPS panels and you need to be somewhat lucky to get one that has minimal backlight bleed. You could buy 3 or 4 and all of them could end up having noticeble backlight bleed so I'm not gonna waste my time returning it. What's more, I don't really notice the backlight bleed when I'm gaming to be honest.
