Spielberg himself will continue to work on "Indiana Jones 5" as a producer. Harrison Ford, who recently spoke about the future of the franchise will also remain on board.

In fact, the script has already passed through several hands: from David Koepp to Jonathan Kasdan and Dan Fogelman back to Koepp, whose final draft is now to be made into a film. No details are yet known.

It is unlikely that Mangold will stick to the April 2020 start date for filming. After all, the rumoured new director will want to bring his own vision to the film.
