Eyeshadow under time pressure? Here's a quick fix!

Do you have to be quick in the morning? Then the "Le Shadow Sticks" from L'Oréal might be just the thing. There's no quicker way to apply eyeshadow.

It's a paradox. Powder eyeshadows are one of my favourite beauty products and yet I hardly ever use my palettes in everyday life. Time-related. Because precise colour placement and beautiful transitions are important to me. But they take time. Many people are like me. The beauty industry's answer to this «problem»? Creamy eyeshadow sticks.

They are practical and therefore all the rage: simply twist out, apply and blend with a finger or brush. These sticks are often advertised as so-called «one and done» products. This means that a colour and formula is so flexible that it can be easily thinned out or built up. This creates beautiful gradients that give the impression that several shades were involved in the make-up process. So much for the theory.

They can do something: «Le Shadow Sticks» from L'Oréal

I've already tested a few sticks. Many are either too dry or so creamy that they crawl into the crease of the eyelid after blinking twice. Not so L'Oréal's «Le Shadow Sticks».

The sticks feel cool and almost gel-like when applied. You then have enough time to set the product with your finger or brush. Once everything is in place, the pigmented eyeshadow dries to a powdery finish. The result lasts, but can also be easily touched up if required. There is a choice of matte and shimmering colours.

You can find over 120,000 beauty products at Galaxus - and counting. Quite a lot. That's why I regularly share my favourites from this pool of new products and classics with you.

As a massive Disney fan, I see the world through rose-tinted glasses. I worship series from the 90s and consider mermaids a religion. When I’m not dancing in glitter rain, I’m either hanging out at pyjama parties or sitting at my make-up table. P.S. I love you, bacon, garlic and onions.
