This hack will make your face jewels survive a night of partying

I’m a huge fan of sparkly face jewellery. Sadly, though, the adhesive gems usually lose most of their sticking power after just one use. This hack will solve that problem once and for all.
I love a bit of colour on my face. It lifts my mood and sparks my creativity. The same goes for face jewels – small, adhesive rhinestones or stickers. A little gem here, half a pearl there and an ordinary day suddenly feels a little more magical to me.

Face jewels are like stickers and usually have an adhesive back. You peel it off and apply the stone to the desired spot on your skin. But even after just one use, they tend to come off. Especially if you’re wearing foundation, powder and the like.
So, what to do?
Reach for your lash glue
If you have clear eyelash adhesive that works well for you, consider the problem practically solved. First, remove any adhesive residue from your jewel and apply a fresh dab of lash glue. Let the glue dry briefly until it turns slightly bluish or see-through. Next, use a pair of tweezers to stick it on your face.
Now you can use the facial decorations as often as you like. Thanks to the glue’s ultra-strong hold, the jewellery won’t come off. No matter how much you sweat.
By the way, the glue also gives you the freedom to wear small items on your face that aren’t necessarily meant to be face jewels. Nail art stones, for example, are my current favourites:
