Is the Instant Glow Perfector by Maybelline a dupe for this expensive product?

In the world of beauty, dupes are more affordable alternatives to high-priced products. One such expensive product is Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Flawless Filter – and there are a growing number of dupes for it, like this one from Maybelline. I’ve put it to the test.
If I were allowed to keep just one beauty product for the rest of my life, it’d be Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Flawless Filter, no contest. It’s a tinted liquid highlighter that gives your face a soft-focus glow. On top of that you can use it:
- as a primer under your make-up
- instead of a foundation
- mixed into your foundation
- or as a regular highlighter over your makeup.
At just under 50 francs for 30 millilitres, however, the filter is an expensive bit of fun. No wonder more and more similar products are making their way onto the market. Among them is Maybelline’s new Instant Anti Age Perfector 4-in-1 Glow Makeup at just under 19 francs for 20 millilitres. Can it be compared at all? And is Maybelline’s counterpart a viable replacement for my favourite product? Watch the video above to find out.
