Better than standard thermal pads? The ultra-soft material of the Eisschicht Ultra Soft thermal pads behaves similarly to thermal paste. While normal thermal pads are merely compressed under pressure, which can lead to uneven pressure on components of varying heights, this is almost eliminated with the Eisschicht Ultra Soft thermal pads.
