Now, regarding the fitting itself: this is a straight G1/4 inch screw fitting for 13/10mm hoses (10mm inner diameter, 13mm outer diameter) with a nut. This attachment allows the hose to be secured and released very quickly while holding firmly in place. An O-ring on the side of the G1/4 inch screw fitting prevents water loss.
