Intensive use of a conventional computer mouse can lead to discomfort such as tingling, pain, and restricted blood circulation in the arms and hands. Another symptom is limited neck rotation. While the functionality of the standard computer mouse is good, it is often too small for the hand, and its shape forces the hand and fingers into an unnatural grip position. Therefore, a group of mechanical engineers, in close collaboration with the Medical Center of Erasmus University in the Netherlands, has redesigned the mouse and invented the ergonomic mouse called the HandShoe Mouse. Suitable for hand sizes ranging from 175 to 195 mm.
