The imageFORMULA ScanFront 400 scans many different document types such as A4, A5, business cards or passports in the shortest time and in many different ways. Thanks to the ultrasonic detection of the
double sheet feeder with the functions "Retry" (repeat) and "Release" (release), even envelopes, brochures and folded documents can be scanned easily.
With its slim and compact design, the scanner fits perfectly into any work environment. With a processing speed of up to 45 pages per minute and a robust 60-page infeed mechanism that processes up to 6,000 pages per day, the imageFORMULA ScanFront 400 reliably handles even the most demanding work requirements.

The basis for this is its user-friendly Linux interface and the bright and quickly appealing 10.1-inch touchscreen display. Because neither a PC nor additional software is required to operate the scanner, the device can be easily integrated into a network. Scanned documents can be sent to email addresses, network folders, FTP, USB sticks, fax machines or directly to a printer in just a few steps
Recurring work processes can be further optimized with the help of personalizable keys. These buttons can be assigned to specific users and store frequently used functions and scan destinations.
Security and integration
The new ScanFront offers Canon's usual numerous security functions. In addition to the assignment of individual user authorizations, additional protection functions are available at system and document level. These include secure password login via Active Directory or LDAP directory and secure file transfer via FTPS/SMTPS and SFTP.
With each scan, individual index files with metadata can be generated and sent, making it easier to classify documents and integrate the scanner into existing back-office systems and workflows. The SDK web application is also available to system integrators. This gives companies the opportunity to integrate their own adaptations or to develop tailor-made applications.
