Product details
The D-Link DGS-1210 Series Smart Managed Switches represent the latest generation of switches that offer Power over Ethernet (PoE), a variety of physical interface types, multiple management interfaces, and advanced Layer 2 features. By combining all these functionalities, the DGS-1210 Series provides a cost-effective and flexible solution for expanding any business network. The DGS-1210 Series includes a range of PoE-capable switches with high power budgets for businesses looking to power VoIP phones, wireless access points, or network cameras. The DGS-1210-10P/10MP are 8-port Smart Managed PoE+ switches with 8 PoE-capable ports, each capable of delivering up to 30 W of power. In contrast, the DGS-1210-28P/28MP/52P/52MP are Smart Managed PoE+ switches with a power budget of 193/370 W, supporting 24/48 PoE-capable ports with 4/8 ports that provide an output power of up to 30 W according to the IEEE 802.3at standard. The design allows for greater flexibility in power allocation for a variety of devices with affordable installation costs.
Advanced Features: The DGS-1210 Series is equipped with a complete set of L2 features, including IGMP Snooping, Port Mirroring, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), and Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP). The IEEE 802.3x flow control feature enables servers to connect directly to the switch for fast and reliable data transfers. The DGS-1210-10MP/26/28MP switches also support advanced features such as static routing, allowing network administrators to segment the network into VLANs, thereby enhancing network efficiency. Network maintenance features include loopback detection and cable diagnostics. The loopback detection is used to identify loops caused by a specific port and automatically disable the affected port.
