Patch cable with effective locking protection (RNS®). The locking protection (RNS®) prevents the locking pin of the patch cable connector from bending, making defective pins a thing of the past.
With the Snap-In-Nose Protection (RNS®), this cable is suitable for 10/100/1000/10000 Base-T Ethernet networks (10 Gigabit capable) and has a frequency of 500 MHz. The raw cable is manufactured according to Cat. 7 specifications and features 2 shielded RJ45 Cat. 6A connectors. It is an S/FTP cable (shielded foil + braid) with PiMF (pairs in metal foil).
The inner conductor has an AWG of 26, and the conductor material as well as the contacts are made of 99.9% oxygen-free copper (OFC). The outer diameter of the sheath is 6.5 mm, and it is flame-retardant according to IEC 60332-1. The wiring is 1:1 according to EIA/TIA-568B, and it is halogen-free according to IEC 60754-2 with low smoke according to IEC 61034. The contact surfaces are gold-plated.
This patch cable is suitable for various devices such as patch panels, switches, routers, and modems with RJ45 connections. The length is 15 m, and the color is green.
