Each individual battery is monitored and charged separately in the 4 charging slots, with the respective charging status displayed on the LCD screen. This allows for optimal charging of 1 to 4 batteries regardless of size (AA or AAA) and capacity. The automatic charge state detection and effective charging method prevent harmful overcharging and overheating of the batteries, leading to a longer lifespan. The charging process is automatically terminated once the batteries are fully charged to avoid overcharging.

The compact charger enables safe and fast charging of 1 to 4 AA Mignon/AAA Micro NiMH batteries. The charging plug is simply inserted into the socket to start the charging process. It is possible to charge different battery sizes, capacities, and charge states simultaneously without loss of time or safety. The LCD bar display shows the current charge status – from 1 bar "low charge" to 4 bars "fully charged." A blinking display indicates active charging activity. Damaged batteries are detected and displayed as defective. A safety timer cutoff terminates the charging after exceeding the maximum battery charging time of 6.5 hours.
