The Cat. 7 cable material for operational frequencies up to 600MHz with overall braided shielding and individual foil shielding (S/FTP) is designed for use in data centers, server rooms, rack-mounted network and switch cabinets, etc., for networks up to 10GBaseT. It has been manufactured and tested according to the guidelines of the ISO/IEC 11801 specification. The cables are individually packaged in a polybag. The gold-plated contacts ensure reliable, corrosion-free connections over very long periods. The snagless clip protection prevents the breaking or tearing of the locking clip on the connector, allowing the cables to be stored and handled without getting tangled in the clips. Due to the halogen-free sheath material of the LSZH-designed cable, this product is suitable for use in public spaces with its low smoke emission and completely eliminated release of toxic halogens. This product uses Cat.7 cable material. The Cat.7 standard originally defined the GG45 connectors, which were developed as an evolution of RJ45 but did not gain market acceptance. Meanwhile, the RJ45 connector has also been further developed to meet the requirements of Cat.7 without issues, but it was never officially defined for Cat. 7.
