The Cat. 7 cable material is designed for operating frequencies up to 600MHz with overall braided shielding and individual foil shielding (S/FTP), developed for use in data centers, server rooms, rack-mounted network and switch cabinets, etc., for networks up to 10GBaseT. It has been manufactured and tested according to the guidelines of the ISO/IEC 11801 specification. The cables are individually packaged in a polybag. The gold-plated contacts ensure reliable, corrosion-free connections over extended periods. The snagless clip protection prevents the breaking or tearing of the locking clip on the connector, allowing the cables to be stored and handled without snagging the clips together. The halogen-free sheath material of the LSZH-designed cable makes the product suitable for public spaces due to its low smoke emission and the complete elimination of toxic halogen emissions. This product uses Cat.7 cable material. The Cat.7 standard originally defined the GG45 connectors, which were designed as an evolution of RJ45 but did not gain market acceptance. Meanwhile, the RJ45 connector has also been further developed to meet the requirements of Cat.7 without issues. However, it was never officially defined for Cat. 7.
