The Metz Connect patch cable is a high-quality simplex patch cable specifically designed for connecting fiber optic sockets to end devices in FITH applications. It uses a single-mode fiber with a diameter of 9/125 µm and is bend insensitive according to the standards IEC 60793-2-50 and G.657.A2 as well as G.652.D. The cable jacket is halogen-free and features low smoke emission, making it a safe choice for various applications. The cable is 100% tested for insertion and return loss to ensure reliable performance. Each patch cable is marked with a serial number for easy traceability. With an outer diameter of 2.8 mm, the cable is compact and flexible, facilitating installation.
