The X-E5 achieves very good results in all areas. The comparison with the X-T50 is primarily decided by design preferences - although the older camera costs 300 euros less, has a flash on board, but is not suitable for selfies. The Z50 Il has the brightest viewfinder and the best high-ISO smoke behaviour. If you can do without the viewfinder, the X-M5 is also a very good choice.

The Z50 Il is really good in all test disciplines and therefore wins the test. It is beautifully compact, lightweight and sits comfortably in the hand thanks to the pronounced grip. The fast image processor (Expeed 7) is a particular advantage when it comes to autofocus. It recognises the subject very accurately and at very high speed...

The Nikon Z50II scored points in the test with numerous improvements. In addition to the consistently good image quality up to ISO 6,400, it clearly stands out from its predecessor with Nikon Z9-level autofocus object detection, faster and more enduring image series and the extended video functions for vloggers, but we would still have liked to see an increase to 24 megapixels...
