Information on memory configurationOur memory team will be happy to assist you in choosing the right memory and configuring your server.The following technical conditions should be taken into account in advance:- The CPU supports 6 DIMMs per memory channel- You can use RDIMM memory or LRDIMM memory. LRDIMM memory is particularly recommended when large memory capacities are to be achieved:- Registered DIMM and Load Reduced LRDIMM memory modules must not be mixed. When upgrading, you should therefore know which memories are already available or upgrade completely to RDIMM or LRDIMM memory.- With RDIMM memory modules you can achieve a maximum working memory of 1.5TB. If LRDIMM memory is used, 3TB is possible.- Memory slots for which there is no processor must not be populated- Higher memory frequencies may adapt to other memory clocks in the system environment and support correspondingly slower clock rates.
