Information on memory configuration: Our memory team is happy to assist you in choosing the right RAM and configuring your server. The following technical considerations should be taken into account in advance:

• You can use RDIMM or LRDIMM memory. LRDIMM memory is particularly recommended when large memory capacities are to be achieved.
• Registered DIMM and Load Reduced LRDIMM memory modules should not be mixed. Therefore, when upgrading, you should know which memory is already installed or completely upgrade to either RDIMM or LRDIMM memory.
• Memory slots without a processor present must not be populated.
• Higher memory frequencies may adapt to other memory clock rates in the system environment and support correspondingly slower clock rates.
